A homeowner in Sugar Land had big plans for their backyard - a full addition and patio setup. Before any of that could move forward, the ground had to be properly excavated and graded. That's where we came in.
Here's the thing about prep work - it's not glamorous, but it's everything. If the ground isn't cut right, if the grade is off, if the pad isn't squared away before the next crew shows up, the whole project gets complicated fast. We take that seriously.
We handled the full excavation, cutting down and moving material across the backyard and along the side yard to get the area shaped and ready. The framing stakes were set, the perimeter was defined, and the pad area was worked down to a clean, level surface. Every pass with the track loader matters when you're working in a tight residential space like this.
What you end up with is a foundation for the rest of the build - something the concrete crew, the contractor, whoever comes next, can actually work with. No surprises, no rework. That's the goal every time we step onto a job like this.
Good excavation is one of those things people don't think about until something goes wrong. We'd rather be the crew that keeps things moving right from the start.
